Joined multiple FB photography groups to see what was it about people photography that resonated with people. Found that emotions and connections got better response than technical superiority. Example: lookslikefilm
Bought a camera and begged friends to do photo shoots with me so I could learn by doing.
Found Ben Sasso and did his online classes to learn about how he prompts couples, how he edits.
Started charging friends after first two months of free shoots.
Started an Instagram. Created a squarespace website to look legit.
Word of mouth traveled and got a lot of clients
Started learning about business side from same photography FB groups. Like online contracts. Sites for sharing client previews, best practices etc.
